Who is Nirethia?
Welcome to my website! I’m Nirethia, a 35-year old British man living in the Philippines! I’m an RPG-enjoyer, PlayStation trophy grinder, Pokémon challenge runner, WoW Zonelocked player and a Final Fantasy XIV Walker. I’ve been streaming on Twitch consistently since 2019. In the years since then we’ve beaten over 200 games across nearly every genre, and some interesting challenges, which we’re still doing more to this day!
Reasons why I stream
I started streaming after losing my job as a video editor months before the COVID-19 pandemic started and felt lost. I’d only recently started watching Twitch streams myself and discovered that I didn’t need to be loud and crazy all the time to be a streamer myself. My wife gave me the final push and I started in April 2019 with my favourite game, Final Fantasy VII. Seven years later, we’re still going strong!
What can you expect?
You can expect a variety of different games. As much as I enjoy RPGs, they’re not all I enjoy. We’ve been rotating between RPGs from the early 1990s to current era, indie gems across multiple platforms, Pokémon challenge runs and long-term MMO challenges. With that said, I’m definitely looking into new long-term game series ideas going forward!
